Phew! I finally got a decent looking website up and running!
The old one was a basic HTML website that I made in like 2020 and just repurposed with new StaticSquidd branding. Don't do that. It looks bad and it sucks to make.

I'm just glad to have a website that doesn't look half bad. It's nice. And I can do stuff like this, post direct text updates to a page where everyone can see. THAT'S COOL!!!
Previously, I was doing Weekly Text Updates on Patreon. I don't really need Patreon at the moment so I decided to shut it down, plus having something to say weekly was tough.
Some weeks, there just wasn't much happening in the world of StaticSquidd. The channel isn't very active and I don't have a super exciting life. Most of the time. Someone gave birth on the train I was in the other day. I was honestly kinda mad because it was 11:30PM and I just had a shit day at work. In hindsight, that's actually kinda cool. The miracle of life is amazing, right?
That being said, I do want to bring updates with how the channel is going so far. I've been chipping away slowly at this new episode, but because I've been working two jobs lately. Soon, I'll be able to ramp up production and that's gonna be great since this video is damn near 40 minutes. To keep the masses satiated, I posted a sneak peek on SecondSquidd a few weeks ago. Check it out!
The video goes over my Game of the Year for every year I've been alive. I'm enjoying it, but the main hurdle is getting sufficient gameplay footage for like 19 games. That's gonna take hours in of itself that I might need to set a whole day aside to do. Whoops. Bit off more than I can chew there, but I'll pull through. I think I have enough footage of some of the Doom games I talk about. Multiple. Spoilers.
After that, I am really excited for the episode following the next. It's gonna be a game review and I've been trying to do this one for months. Is it because of the game?
Yes. Is it because the game is long?
No. It's just really bad. You'll see.
I also want to toy around with doing videos about music on another channel. I have a channel called "Ellie Mars" (which is just my pen name) that I want to upload videos about music that I like. I dunno though. Just thinkin.
